| Grace Marie, Miriam and Brendan are older players in our Region who have also found time to Referee 39 !!! assignments between them. Including many 12U AR spots that we've been critically short of this year. All three have done a great job and have been a tremendous help to the region and a great example for others. Thank You! | Melida McWeeney | |
| Beginning this year, Melida has taken on arguably the toughest job in the Region. As Regional Registrar it is her task to get nearly 1800 kids registered and placed onto teams. She also deals with a myriad of issues in the BlueSombrero system dealing with payments and problems with little actual help from BlueSombrero. As we get into October and November Melida gets even busier dealing with Tournament, Playoff and All-Star team formation, rosters and eligibility, all of which have short timelines and have to be 100% correct in order for our Quartz Hill teams to advance and represent us in Area and Section play. Melida's positive attitude is infectious and we are so happy and grateful for all the hours she commits to our region! |

| Nomination Forms Back this Week! We love hearing about our great volunteers. Our nomination forms will be back this week, please let us know about your great volunteers out there. Every week QH AYSO will honor one Volunteer and one Board Member (if one is nominated) who has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Nominations may come from anyone - a coach, player, parent, board member, etc. Forms are available from your coach or at the Snack Bar. The person chosen by the Board as Volunteer of the Week from all the nominees will receive a free lunch from the snack bar; all nominees will be acknowledged for all their hard work and time! |
